Privacy Policy

Oblivion Marketplace is a World of Warcraft boosting community operating a website at oblivion-marketplace.com and a set of Discord bots used to run our Discord server at discord.gg/obc. This policy explains what data we collect through the website and our Discord bots, why we collect it, and how you can contact us about it.

This policy covers oblivion-marketplace.com and the Discord bots operated by Oblivion Marketplace across our EU and NA communities, including our booking, attendance, application, support, moderation, and general utility bots. It does not cover Discord itself — your use of Discord is separately governed by Discord's own Privacy Policy.

• Discord OAuth login data (Discord ID, username, avatar) when you sign in.
• Your server roles, used to determine what you can see and do on the site (e.g. booster, staff, raid leader access).
• Session data cached locally in your browser for a short period to keep you signed in between visits.
• Standard technical/server logs (such as IP address and browser type) automatically collected by our hosting provider for security and diagnostic purposes.

• Your Discord ID, username, and server roles.
• Message content, but only for specific bot commands (e.g. booking, attendance, and application commands) in designated channels, and to scan for scam or malicious links as part of server moderation. We do not passively log or store general chat.
• Voice channel membership, used by features such as booster attendance lookups.
• World of Warcraft character data (character name, realm, region, item level, and similar) if you link your Battle.net/Raider.IO account.
• Payout details you submit as a booster or advertiser, such as bank transfer details or cryptocurrency wallet addresses, used solely to send you payment.
• An internal balance and transaction ledger tied to your Discord ID, tracking gold balance, deposits, withdrawals, and related history.
• Invite codes used to join our server, for referral tracking.
• Application text you submit when applying to become a booster or advertiser.
• Moderation and role-change records kept for server security and audit purposes.

We use this data to operate our booking, attendance, and payout systems; verify booster and advertiser eligibility; prevent fraud, alt accounts, and scam links; process payouts; provide customer support; and run our referral program.

Data is stored in our internal database, in Google Sheets for legacy attendance and roster tracking on some bots, and on Discord itself (messages, roles) subject to Discord's own Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with Discord (as the platform our services run on) and as required to execute payouts (e.g. with your bank or a cryptocurrency network).

We retain data for as long as needed for the purposes described above, or until you request deletion.

You can request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us through our Discord server. You can revoke the website's access to your Discord account at any time from Discord's Authorized Apps settings.

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
